The first person to receive a face transplant in the United States
Five years ago Connie Culp lived a horror story, her husband shot her, so he destroyed her face. The eyes were completly deformed just like her nose, as we can see in the video. Her facial expression wasn't of a person. This woman has had to resort to surgery 30 times, but always to no avail. For this reason has been the first woman in United States to receive a facial transplant.
However the operation was very complicated. The doctors were more than 20 hours for reconstructure all her face, the most that they could. Although the result of her face is a litle disfigured yet, the result of this operation is a miracle, because she look better and she was able to continue talking and gesticulating with his face.
